Google announced they have upgraded the iOS Google search app to bring three new features. Specifically the ability to search and share directly in iMessage, to look for related content in the Safari browser and drag and drop support for iPads.
iMessage
To see the iMessage change, tap the iMessage apps drawer, and tap on Google app icon. Then you can tap on the icon for "Food" or "Nearby" to share your locations, or perform a search and share a card directly into the messages.
Safari Related Content
You can tap on the Search Google icon from the share menu while viewing a web page in Safari to show related content. Here is a GIF of it in action:
iPad Drag and Drop Support
With an iPad in iOS 11, you can now drag and drop to quickly and easily move text, images and links to and from the Google app. If you are in the Google App, you can tap and hold to pick up the link and drag it into iMessage to share with a friend or in Notes or other applications.
