The Google Knowledge Graph carousel, which launched about 10 months ago, is now showing up more and has a slightly updated style.
Reported by Gabs at Threadwatch and in WebmasterWorld, amongst other blogs and tweets, folks in the webmaster and SEO space are taking notice.

Two things here:
(1) The carousel is showing up more often these days and will likely continue to show up even more often in the future.
(2) The design has been updated, which shouldn't surprise anyone.
