Last week, we saw that some businesses can now edit their business descriptions in Google My Business. Now Sergey Alakov spotted that sometimes Google is showing an "about" tab in the local knowledge panel for some local results in mobile search. I suspect the two are related but I am not sure.

Tim Capper, who is a local SEO and gets some early information from Google on this topic, said this is not a test but can't say more:

Either way, the business descriptions and this about tab both do not show for all types of businesses, so it might just be specific to certain types of industries?
