Today on Google, I am currently in Israel (well when I wrote this, I should be over the ocean now at the time this goes live), Google has a special Google Doodle, logo, for the gothic revivalist architect Eugène Viollet-le-Duc.

I am not 100% sure if it is on Google.com in the US, but it should be. Eugène Viollet-le-Duc was hired to work on the Statue of Liberty but didn't live to see the Statue of Liberty be completed.

Eugène Viollet-le-Duc was born on January 27, 1814, 200 years ago today, in Paris, France. He died at the age of 65 on September 17, 1879 in Lausanne, Switzerland.

He was most well known for his gothic architectures and interpretive restorations of medieval buildings.

I did check over a VPN to see if the Google was live in the US and it doesn't seem to be.
