Google has expanded the booking partners for Local Service Ads from about 20 partners to over 500 partners. That is about a 2,400 percent increase. "We’re vastly expanding booking capabilities for Local Services Ads to include more than 500 Reserve with Google booking partners – up from just 20," Ginny Marvin, the Google Ads Liaison, said.
These settings will also carry over when Local Service Ads accounts move into Google Ads over the coming months. Here is a link to the 500+ booking partners.
Ginny wrote on X that this is for Local Service Ads and then broke down what this means for LSA advertisers. She said:
- Direct Booking from LSAs: Starting today, if your Google Business Profile already has an active partner booking link, it is also now enabled for your LSA automatically – no manual linking required. Customers can book directly from your ad on Search and Maps.
- Lead Tracking: Direct bookings flow into your LSA lead reporting as paid leads. You can continue to view and manage all booking leads directly inside your Local Services Ads profile.
- Controls: Want to adjust your booking preferences or turn off a specific partner link? Visit Profile & Budget > Settings in your LSA dashboard at any time.
Google also recently expanded the LSA verticals in a big way and changed the pricing for calls.
