Google is testing using company logos in map pins. Darren Friel spotted an example of this with the Early Settler brand. Here is that screen shot.
He shared this on Twitter and asked if I've seen it before. I don't think I have - have you?
It seems this was spotted in the Local Search Forums a few months back or so.
