I love the Local Search Forum because these SEOs are so knee deep into the local search results that it is amazing what they pick up on. One local SEO said she thought that Google had a handle on not showing duplicate listings in the local pack. But when she does a search for a very specific address and name, Google shows an exact duplicate instead of showing a single listing.
The search is [dentist 1551 W Redondo Beach Blvd gardena] in Australia. The results list two listings, with exactly the same name, address, phone number, etc.
The question is why? Why can't Google figure that out?
It even someone surprised Linda Buquet who said, "Sheesh - dupes down to the letter."
