Alright, so my Photoshop skills aren't the best but the fact is, Matt Cutts, Google's on-leave spam boss, did indeed travel as a passenger in a Google self driving car.
Not the one in the picture here, but the ones that were installed on real cars, not Google prototype cars.
Matt said on Twitter, "I've been in one of the highway-cruising models. I haven't gotten to try the 25 mph variety yet." In response to a tweet from Justin Bartlett asking him if he has been in one.

How does this relate to search? Not at all unless you want to take the stretch that what was Cutts doing in one? Is Google integrating search into these cars? Probably but I doubt he was a passenger for that reason, he probably just wanted to try it out.
