Google MobileYesterday on Search Engine Land I reported how some users were seeing image thumbnails in the mobile friendly Google results, within the search results snippets. I received a screen shot from an iOS user.

This morning, I am getting screen shots from Android users on via Twitter.

Personally, I think these images add very little relevancy to the search results. And to have them on a mobile interface, would only slow things down. I would be surprised to see them launch widely, but I've been wrong plenty of times before.
