11 days ago, we reported about the search queries report in Google My Business insights section that some were seeing. The funny thing, Google officially announced it on Friday on Twitter and on Google My Business Help. Allyson Wright, Community Manager, Google My Business wrote:
We’re excited to announce that we’re rolling out a new Insights feature as a result of popular demand! Search Queries is showing and ranking the terms that your customers used in their intent to find your business on Local Search and Maps.In this card, you’ll see the queries used in the last 7 and 28 days. To protect users' privacy, you'll only see queries that meet our privacy threshold.
When many said they do not see it, she responded:
Thanks for all of the comments and questions around this feature! We're really excited and working hard to roll this out to all GMB users. If you don't see it in your account yet, don't worry! We're on it!
I personally do not see this for my business but I suspect it is because my business doesn't get a lot of traffic on Google for local queries?
Here is what the report looks like:
Google also has this help document on this new report. I do believe the really old Google Local reports had query reports as well but as some point removed it. I just can't find where I covered it?
