I am told this isn't exactly new, but I don't think I've covered this before. Google My Business now lets you edit the localized version of the business name. Craig Harkins shared a screen shot on Twitter of Google My Business letting him edit the McDonalds location and also enter in the Russian version of the name.

This is not currently available in the Google My Business dashboard but it is available when you edit a Google My Business listing directly in web search.
Supposedly this has been around for at least a couple months:
It's live for over 2 months, seeing it for most of the countries indeed. You can also edit already "Located in" section, which is great as well.

I've seen for a few months, specifically in Mexico. Unfortunately you can't control or even view in GMB, only directly on the knowledge panel.
