Marissa Nordahl from the Google My Business team announced in the Google Business Help forums that you can now set your hours for special days, like holiday hours, special event hours, etc within Google My Business.
Under the Google My Business location details section, there is a new section for "special hours." There you can configure special hours for holidays or events.
When you provide special hours to Google My Business for a known holiday in your region, Google will tell your customers that they’re seeing holiday-specific opening hours:
If you don't do that, Google might tell people there may be special hours:
There are three ways to set special hours, as specified in the help document:
(1) Upload them via a spreadsheet
(2) Manage them in the Google My Business portal
(3) Or set the special hours to extend to the next day.
