Over the past couple months, many Google Now users on Android have been complaining that their Google Now cards are not always loading due to an error that says "no internet connection."
There is a bunch of threads about this, here is one that keeps popping up in the Google Web Search Help forum.
For the past 2 to 3 days Google Now says there's no Internet connection but that's not true; there's is an Internet connection, as everything else is able to connect to my WiFi network.Interest cards, the weather card, the Doodle update, so how can Google Now say that there's no internet connection?
Also, when I go -- or try to go -- to Google Now's settings, all I get is a black screen.

The fix seems to be reinstalling the app. The issue may happen after the Google search app is updated automatically. So if this happens to you, try to just reinstall the app.
