So we have the fetch and render tool in Google Search Console but it seems like Google is building a new tool to show webmasters how Google is rendering a page on their crawl.
At the 48:04 mark into the hangout video from yesterday, Google's John Mueller said the Search Console team is working n a new tool that will show the "rendered HTML version available in Search Console." He doesn't know about when it will be released but him talking about it does imply it is in the works and possibly will be out soonish.
Here is the video embed:
The question was:
What would be the best tool to see how Google is rendering a page? Will Search Console have this option soon for fetch and render?
The answer:
I don’t know about soon but we have been talking about this with the Search Console team to try to find a solution for having kind of the rendered HTML version available in Search Console. So that is something we’ve been looking at. I really have no idea on the timing there, so probably not going to happen today.

@rustybrick Not sure which part you're referring to, but sometimes it's useful to see the rendered HTML source/DOM.
