As many of you know, we are expecting a Google Penguin update by the end of this year and that update is expected to be the real time version.
But when we asked Gary about that at SMX Israel, he said that was the plan but he wouldn't confirm a 100% if it would be this release. If something happened, they might release an update without it being real time.
Last night, Gary Illyes from Google said on Twitter that the next update will be the real time version, which he said is a "huge change."

When is it coming? Well, the end of the year is only about 5 weeks away, so it is happening really soon.
I think the "huge change," isn't necessarily about the shake up it may cause in the search results, but in terms of it being real time.
