On Friday we reported on the largest local search algorithm update we've seen from Google in ages. It seems from our early review of the reaction of the SEO/webmaster community that this update was indeed very large.
Google would not give us metrics on how large it was but it was large enough for them to inform us about it.
That being said, we had SEOs and Webmasters claim they love the results and hate the results. Which is not uncommon but I do not see levels of complaints as I would see when Google releases a Penguin or Panda update.
