Google Places Analytics FickleIt should be of no surprise to our reader or anyone who has a business listing on Google Maps/Places/Local that the Google Places Dashboard has issues and bugs.

It is one of the most consistent complaints from business owners who interact with Google.

But I love it when Googlers speak the truth about their own products. Jade Wang, a Google Maps representative, responded to a complaint in the Google Business Help forums about the Google Places Dashboard analytics being off.

Jade responded saying that the analytics in the Google Places for Business dashboard is a "bit fickle" right now.

Jade wrote:

Thanks for reporting. The analytics in the Google Places for Business dashboard are a bit fickle, but if you check back in the coming days or weeks, they will very likely appear.

True, for me, the reports spin and spin as if they are loading and do not load. Some are saying it shows them they have zero impressions.

So I guess check back in a couple weeks and hopefully they will be fixed.
