I feel like a broken record and that Google simply does not care but again, I am seeing numerous reports from the PPC community about Google representatives attempting to poach their client accounts from them.
We all get the emails and to be fair to Google, you can now unsubscribe from those emails, but maybe there should be a way for Google to know an agency is managing the account and not send these emails in the first place?
We've covered these types of complaints many many times, over a dozen years ago and Google even promised to make changes back in 2022. But yet, we still see this happening and PPCers complaining that it is happening.
Here are two recent complaints...
Bia Camargo posted on LinkedIn the other day and wrote, "What the actual f&$@ is happening? One of my clients, an account that is actively managed by an agency, received this email directly from Google. Not through me. Not through our Google agency representative. Directly to the client."

There are tons of "me too" responses in the comments on Bia's post. It is sad to see this still going on. Higman replied saying:
Has been happening for the last 4 years with us as well. Its super gross and unethical. Luckily for us most of our clients already do not trust Google reps. It shouldnt be this way. As agencies we help guide clients towards the right choices in Google ads and keep them winning. We shouldnt always be fighting with reps or hounded by them. The rep program is very broken at this point and desperately needs a revamp.
David Melamed also posted on LinkedIn about a similar email and he wrote, "What the heck is this spammy scam Google is hawking at unsuspecting advertisers?????!!!!!"

I got an email the other day, but I am not managing my account - so it doesn't bother me:
It is just sad to see this happening over and over again and no real action is happening on Google's end with this.
