Another tidbit at SMX Advanced from Gary Illyes of Google, something he said a few months ago is that there is a huge opportunity to rank for keywords in non-English languages. He said there is a lack of content and web pages for non-English languages.
Gary said at SMX Advanced, "think about how you can target other countries." "There are a ton of countries that don’t have enough content," he added.
Gary said look for "where is there a gap in content" and produce content there. English is somewhat over saturated but with non-English, there are plenty of opportunities.
Google actually has been saying this for years. I remember Matt Cutts saying this at an event years and years ago. But it is still an issue, which means opportunity for you if you speak other languages.
Here are tweets from the event:

1. Mobile
2. Improve UX
3. Make content for other countries even if you are not present there @methode #smx
Top things to think on: "Don't ignore mobile". "How can you improve users experience?" "Where is there a gap in content?" @methode #smx
