To be honest, I am not sure if this is new, but I am being told this is new. The first is what looks like an organic product grid, where Google shows product selections for a query in a new grid like format. The second are paid Google shopping ads that expand to show more details.
Product Grids in Google Search
Via J. James Patterson on Twitter, he says he is seeing a new new Product Grid in the Google search results. The query was "camping chairs" and personally, I can see it also. Here is the screen shot:

This one is from Sunny on Twitter and this one I am not sure if it is new, it "feels" old, but I don't have it documented. In short, expandable shopping ads when you click on the two arrows at the top right you see the expanded version:
