Google's Knowledge Graph Answers Show Randomized Sources?

The other day we reported on why and when Google shows or does not show credit links for quick answers in the knowledge graph areas. Today, we are asking why Google sometimes shows one source and then another different source for the same question and answer.

Matt Satell posted this question on Google+. A search for [groupon ceo] returns an answer, but if you search on your phone or a different browser, it may show an answer from a different source. I get answers from either businessinsider.com or mashable.com for the same query.

Why? Is Google trying to spread the credit juice around or is the answer transitioning from one source to another and I am hitting different answer database data centers? I am not sure, but it is interesting.
