Google is proud to announce a quick answer they have for a search on [report child trafficking].
Google's head of search, Amit Singhal said on Google+ that "Every bit counts" when combatting human trafficking. Amit is responsible for all search at Google, especially these answers and knowledge graph blocks at the top of the search results.
The box I see for that query shows U.S. based information, including an 800#, a text message # and the web site and more.
Google said this feature, since it launched, helped solve 25 cases in this area.
The box is now powered by Polaris (US), Lighthouse Support Center for Human Trafficking Victims (Japan), Dasi Hamkke Center (South Korea), Taipei Women's Rescue Foundation (Taiwan), La Strada (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Moldova, Poland and Ukraine), The A21 Campaign (Greece), ASTRA Anti-Trafficking Action (Serbia), and International Organization for Migration (Turkey).
