Google Maps Team Revamping "My Maps"

Google has a Maps product named My Maps. It is useful when you want to create vacations, make custom directions for parties and so much more.

Google describes it as:

Google Maps is a map service that you view in your web browser. Depending on your location, you can view basic or custom maps and local business information, including business locations, contact information, and driving directions. Click and drag maps to view adjacent sections immediately. View satellite images of your desired location that you can zoom and pan.

But as any My Maps user knows, there are little quirks with the system that just do not work right.

Googler Brain confirmed the issues and said in a Google Maps Help that Google is working on fixing the bugs but at a larger scale, which might mean Google is looking to revamp the system.

Brian said, "the My Maps team is working extensively on a long term resolution to a lot of the recent My Maps issues, this particular problem may not be fixed in the immediate future."

Sounds very interesting. There is so much you can do with My Maps, so I look forward to the changes.
