Remember those Google Search Console bugs that we thought was related to the indexing issues? Google said it was resolved mostly with the exception of the backlink report, which should be resolved soon. Well, resolved means that the data was completely lost for all reports excluding the performance report and filled with data from April 26th instead.
Here is one way to visualize it:
Google posted on the data anomalies page "Search Console experienced a data outage that ceased on April 26. The outage affected all reports except the Performance report. All missing data from April 9-25 was replaced with the data from April 26, when data began to be available again."
Yep - the 16 day period is completely gone for all reports minus the Performance report. Gone.
This also means that it is almost impossible to really see how bad the indexing bug impacted your specific site, since the bug started around April 5th but continued through April 11th - there are several days of where the coverage report is missing data.
Just keep that in mind when doing reporting for your clients - that that 16-day period really isn't good data. This is in addition to the new bugs with manual actions within Google Search Console that started yesterday afternoon.
