Monday we reported that the Google Search Console's Search Analytics report bugged out at the worst time, right in time for folks to not be able to see how they were hit by the Google weekend update.
Well, it was a bug and Google is now in the process of fixing it now. In fact, I personally am seeing data fill into my Search Analytics report.
Google's John Mueller updated us Twitter saying "the Search Analytics data had a delay, but should be catching up soon." The data anomalies page confirms a "repair in progress." It says:
September 2-6, 2016 (repair in progress)A system error dropped all Search Analytics data from Sept 1-6. However we are now repairing this gap, and hope to completely fill the gap soon.
So expect it to be fixed fully shortly and then you can see if you benefited or not from the Google weekend update.
