Google No No: Linking Their Search Results To Twitter Search Results

Google Twitter

Google has a policy of not sending searchers to more search results. That is why Google doesn't want to index search result pages on your web site, link to Bing search, or any search result, from within their own search results page.

So when Bas van den Beld posted a screen shot on Twitter of Google linking to Twitter search results, I was a bit shocked to see this.

The big question is, is this a bug or a feature? If it is a feature, I think Google has a bit of explaining to do. Linking to profiles, tweets, etc is all good but linking to search results on Twitter Search - that is typically not the Google way.
