Go ahead, do a search for [seroundtable] in Google, the domain of this site and you will get a knowledge panel from LeapFroggr. It says LeapFroggr was founded in 2013, ten years after this site's first blog post and that it is based in Quezon City, Philippines, we are based in New York, USA.
I am honestly not sure why this came up. Searching for [seroundtable.com] doesn't do that, nor does searching for [search engine roundtable]. Well, that brings me to another thing Google is confused about.
It shows "Top Stories" with a link "more for Search Engine Roundtable" but lists stories from Search Engine Land, the other place I've been writing at for over a decade.
This is not an issue on mobile, nor when you click through, when you click through to more for Search Engine Roundtable it does take me to only stories on Search Engine Roundtable.
Seems Google is confused about who the Search Engine Roundtable is and is not?
I reported it using the feedback link for the LeapFroggr issue, not sure about the Top Stories issue.
