Brad Brewer who follows Google's hotel search results really closely spotted Google now showing a "similar hotels" carousel in the local knowledge panel of a hotel result in Google Maps. Personally, I cannot currently replicate it but Brad posted this screen shot:
There is nothing like going to Google, looking up a specific hotel and then being given alternatives that lead you to book somewhere else.
I do not see this, I do see the "people also search" for section but not the "similar hotels" carousel.
