Google Testing Slimmed Down Local Box

Sergey Alakov posted on Twitter a screen shot of Google testing a slimmed down or reduced size local box. If you search for a specific company, normally it will give you a nice branded box for the company, with the map, address, phone number and so on. But in this slimmed down version, it removed many of those features.

I am wondering if this was done over a poor connection and Google slimmed down the results to make them load faster? That is my best guess outside of just a normal Google UI test.

I do like the normal, richer experience.
