Dell's SEO manager posted a thread in the Google Webmaster Help forum asking why Dell UK lost their sitelinks.
Doug from Dell UK explained they did a large migration of content, but was careful with usage of 301 redirects and SEO implications of the migration. He also explained they did this on several other Dell ccTLDs and did not see the Google Sitelinks disappear like they did on Google UK.
So he asked Google why is this an issue on Google UK and not on any other Google property.

As you can see, the Sitelinks are missing from Google UK and not Google US.
Google's Pierre Far said this was actually a bug on Google's part and they are working on fixing it. Pierre said, "We looked into it, and there is a UK-specific issue (which is why .fr was unaffected) with the algorithms that generate the sitelinks. We're working to fix this problem so it will be corrected in due course." Pierre added, "It's a small, rare, glitch as the example you give and others show."
