I have been hearing some confident messages from the webmaster community that there was a Google update (some saying Panda) over the past 24 hours.
The issue is, I am not seeing strong enough support for these messages.
Meaning, I am seeing a lot of people asking and claiming there was an update. Some are saying it looks like Panda. But we are not at a point where I would put this down as a real update. It might be something Google rolled out specifically impacting some sites that may have bought links in a specific network? It may be a limited update? Or it might be a bug.
It is very hard to say but let me share some quotes from various threads at WebmasterWorld, Black Hat Forums and some on Twitter:

But a lot of others are saying, nope, they see nothing on any of their sites, including Panda sites.
The automated tools do show some fluctuations including SERPs.com, Advanced Web Ranking and SERP Metrics. But again, Moz, Algoroo and others don't see it.
So I'll keep watching, maybe it is just kicking in now?
