Google Surprise

Another nice little tidbit from yesterday's Google webmaster hangout was towards the end at the 54:46 mark where they were talking about voice search and Google's John Mueller said "yeah, it always surprises me when it works really well."

John here is talking about how well Google understands the voice query and responds based on their entity (knowledge graph) database.

He explained that even the Google engineers get surprised by how well it does. He said "and it surprises users, And it surprises me, And it surprises our engineers from time to time as well when all of this really lines up properly."

That is just awesome!
