Google Webmaster Tools International Targeting Reports A Month Behind

Feb 17, 2015 - 8:56 am 0 by

Google Webmaster ToolsWe reported this morning that Google's search query reports in Webmaster Tools is returning to normal and the data is being populated now.

But the international targeting report is almost 30-days delayed now. The first time I saw this reported was in a Google+ hangout from February 10, 2015. John said around the 48 minute mark that the data is a bit behind, specifically showing hreflang tag errors that are really not errors. He said it was resolved but should be updated in the reporting engine soon. Well, that was seven days ago and is still not updated.

A webmaster posted about it also in the Google Webmaster Help forums showing a screen show of the delay:

He said:

I found issues with international targeting chart update. As you can see in below image chart is not update since last 27 days that is 20th Jan, 2015. I have fixed all issues of International Targeting. so I would like to see update at earliest.

Google is obviously aware of the issue, so hopefully it will be fixed soon.
