Yesterday, Google announced the Google Zeitgeist 2012 and they posted the most trending and searched for keywords by category and geographic location.
Last night, they had the annual Google Zeitgeist - Google Holiday Party - in New York. The first time they had it in New York, so the first time I attended one of these events. It was very cool and I got to talk to some very important Googlers.
Eric Schmidt and Amit Singhal, the Chairman of Google and the man who wrote the Google algorithm, respectively, were both in attendance at the small event. So was Craig Nevill-Manning who I was also honored to speak with one-on-one. I didn't know but he was the reason Google has an office for engineers in New York.
