AdSenseAdvisor has been part of WebmasterWorld since 2003. Google has likely replaced the individual who replies to posts under that account a few times since the account was created. And Google has done so again.
A WebmasterWorld thread announces a new AdSenseAdvisor who has joined the forums to help publishers with questions and concerns. This Googler is nameless at this point, but said:
I wanted to introduce myself as the new ASA. We've had some transitions on our team, and so as you've probably noticed, we haven't been as active with posting here in recent months. But we've still been reading your posts, and we're looking to get more involved again. As ASA, I'd like to use this space to get to know you all better, address your concerns, provide clarifications, and hear your feedback on how we can improve AdSense for all publishers.
I'll be reading the posts daily and contributing as much as I can. I'm very much looking forward to the dialogue and hope it'll be as valuable for you as it will be for the AdSense team and me!
The official search engine representatives at WebmasterWorld has recently been lacking. We see very few posts from Matt Cutts, GoogleGuy, AdWordsAdvisor and AdSenseAdvisor. I hope this announcement leads to more posts not just from AdSenseAdvisor but from other Google and Bing representatives in this non-search engine backed forum.
