Google Family Hackathon Day

Mark Louie from Google posted pictures of the Google Family Hackathon event that took place the other day at Google. It is an event where kids get to mash up in coding concepts. Mark posted some pictures of the event on Google+ and wrote:

We were fortunate enough to get into Google's all day camp where the kids got introduced to programming concepts using robotics and games.

The day was divided into 2 main sections where the kids used tablets running Blockly to control robots in mazes, dances,and games. In the 2nd session they used laptops also running Blockly (think Scratch or App Inventor) to build upon their programming and logic skills.
