All companies are into being green and eco friendly, so when Google designed signage for one of their offices, they decided to go with an eco-friendly look. The wood paneling with cut outs in the form of the Google logo, letting grass come through forming the letters Google.
There are some square blocks around the logo too letting more grass to come out.
