Ivan Yudhi from Google got his Project Fi SIM card the other day, he was hoping to get it before the weekend so he can test it before I/O, but instead, he got it yesterday and now is uncomfortable trying it out until after I/O, which makes sense.
Ivan said on Google+:
During the initial registration there was a warning that says 'Activating service on Project Fi requires software update that can make your device incompatible with certain other networks'. I'm sure I can just re-flash the phone if something goes wrong, but not sure if I want to deal with the hassle during I/O.In any case, I'll share my impression in a week or so. I'm planning to use Fi along with my company plan (at&t) for a few months, and if Fi turns out to be superior, I'll make the complete switch.
