Google's Senior Vice President of Social, Vic Gundotra, posted a picture on Google+ of him with Apple's Steve Jobs from back in 2007. The interesting part is that this picture, from what I can tell, was taken a month after Vic Gundotra officially joined Google, after leaving Microsoft and taking a year off for charitable work.
The picture was taken on August 9, 2007 at 10:41 AM (I assume Pacific time) using an iPhone. The first iPhone was introduced on June 29, 2007. Vic just joined Google in June 2007 but clearly left Microsoft to join the company. He had a non-compete where he had to take off a year anyway.
Anyway, they both look happy and Vic did say "We had just finished a good meeting."
I have to assume it was related to Google Maps and other apps and partnerships they had with Apple and the iPhone, which obviously broke down years later.
