Hilary Mason, a data scientist, posted on Twitter a picture of herself waving at the Google Maps Street View car as it drove by her last summer. She waited patiently for Google Maps to display the photo on Google Maps and when she spotted it, shared it on Twitter.
Her blurred out face looked pretty happy about the situation. She wouldn't share the link to the specific live photo, for privacy reasons. But this is what she shared on Twitter.
She wrote:
I found myself in Google street view! And yes, I waved.
Now this is what I call a search photo - getting captured on Google Maps Street View, searching it out months and months later, and then posting it back on Twitter.
This post is part of our daily Search Photo of the Day column, where we find fun and interesting photos related to the search industry and share them with our readers.
