Just a heads up, pretty obvious one, do not email Matt Cutts, the man who pretty much set up search quality at Google, asking to buy links or do sponsored content for links. It is a bad idea.
Sometimes you just do one of those head slaps, one like this:
Someone emailed him asking to pay him $50 to do sponsored content. So Matt replies asking if he can share the work they've done in the past:
"Can you point me to an example of some previous work that you've done?"

- me after someone emails asking to place sponsored content for $50
Then, the person actually does!

Not a good idea.
We've seen many examples of dumb moves in the past, so just add this to the list.
