  • September 2018 Google Webmaster Report
    Here is our monthly Google Webmaster report with the big ticket item being the Google Medic Update coverage, with some other updates this past month as well. Google launched a link report in the new Google Search Console, updated some reporting and launched some new search features.
  • Google Tests "Relevant History" In Search Results
    Google is testing showing searchers a section in search called "relevant history." It seems to show your past searchers that are relevant to the search you just triggered right now. This feature brings awareness to Google storing your search history.
  • Google Ignores A Lot Of Edu Links
    Google's John Mueller said that Google ignores a lot of links on EDU TLDs because they are more often link spam targets. Google said there is a misconception that EDU links are more valuable, hence why they are more of a spam target and thus why Google ignores more spammy links here then other places.
  • Google Dance Zurich Takes Place On September 21st
    Google is hosting their very first Google Dance Zurich event on September 21, 2018. Google has been hosting many international Google Dance events outside of the main GooglePlex location recently. This one takes place at the Google Switzerland office with speakers including John Mueller, Behshad Behzadi and Na'ama Zohary.
  • Google Shopping Ads "See More" Button
    PPC Chat on Twitter posted a screens hot and video of a new treatment to Google Shopping ads on mobile search. Google is showing a "see more" button that when clicked, drives the searcher into more products within Google Shopping.
  • Google Posts Labor Day Logo For Third Year In A Row
    Three years ago today, Google posted their first Google Doodle for Labor Day. For some reason, Google never posted Labor Day logos in the US, that was until a few years ago. And today would be the third year in a row that Google has posted a Labor Day logo.
