We may have had a Google local search ranking algorithm update as well last week. Google Search Console added a new HTTPS report and two new product reviews. Google also expanded eligibility for product and merchant listings for more sites. Google Ads has a new way to manage your automatically applied recommendations. - Google Local Search Ranking Update Around September 7th
Google may have also pushed out a local search ranking update around September 7th. This is in addition to the helpful content update between August 26th and September 9th and the September 2022 core update that kicked off on September 12th. - Google Search Console Adds New HTTPS Report

Google announced a lot of new features and availability around shopping and product experiences in Google Search yesterday. Google expanded eligibility for merchant listing experiences, added more structured data properties, and released new Google Search Console reporting. - Google: Profile Links Are Not Enough
This may be obvious to most of you, but Google's John Mueller was asked if profile links, links in forums or social profiles if those links are enough to get you to rank in Google Search. John said no and left it at that, which is probably the best way to answer it. - Google Ads Consolidates Manage Automatically Applied Recommendations In One Page
Google Ads has added a new consolidated or bundled page that puts all your automatically applied recommendations on one page.
