Google Ads has added the ability for your to allow user-generated images in your product reviews. Google said "You can now include review images in your product review feeds, allowing customers to visually connect with what you sell through pictures of previous customers wearing or using your products." - Google News Increases Bar For Application Process
Google News has supposedly made it harder to become a Google News news source. John Mueller of Google said he knows that Google News applications have to go through a stricter process to get accepted these days. He said the bar has been set higher, which he thinks is a good thing. - Google My Business Photos Support GIFs On Mobile
Andy Simpson posted an example of a business listing in Google Maps that shows animated GIFs for some of its business photos. So I guess you can upload animated GIFs to your Google My Business profile and those on mobile looking at your local listing may see the GIFs. - Google: Links Do Not Expire But They May Become Less Important Over Time
Google's John Mueller said that links do not expire, but it may be the case that links can become less important over time as the pages that link to you become less relevant over time. - Google Has A Graveyard For Dead Products
