As I reported at Search Engine Land yesterday, Google is testing a clipboard or notepad icon in the search autocomplete drop down suggestions. I am not sure what it does exactly, Google wouldn't tell us, but it is different from the trending icons shown in this dropdown from before. - Google Top Contributors Are Now Google Product Experts
Google announced they have rebranded the Google Top Contributors program into what they are calling the Google Product Experts program. Google is updating the various badges and marketing around this program, but the people and what they do as volunteers for Google is not changing. - Roberto Clemente Google Doodle Honors Puerto Rican Major League Baseball Player
On Google's home page in the United States is a special Google Doodle for Roberto Clemente. Roberto Clemente was a Major League baseball player who played with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He died at the young age of 38 when he took a humanitarian trip on March 20, 1973 to Nicaragua when his plane crashed bringing supplies to the site. - Mural Painting At GooglePlex
