Some SEOs are noticing Google add to their title tags that are displayed in the Google search results snippet's headline a city name. Lily Ray posted about this on Twitter and said "I've seen Google modify title tags many times, but this is the 1st time I've seen Google append a city name to a title tag for a generic service page it *thinks* should have a local intent." - Google's New Snippet Controls Rolling Out In A Few Days With Changes To Google France
Google has given us a heads up that the new snippet controls it announced a few weeks ago will begin rolling out "in a few days" and "be fully live worldwide by next week." This coincides with the European press publications changes in France, where Google cannot show snippets, which "will be fully live by October 24." - Google Webmaster Conference To Happen In Zurich
Google is bringing its Webmaster Conference to Zurich on December 11th. I definitely cannot make this one, although, if timing was better, I'd fly out for it. But it looks like a great line up of talks throughout the afternoon. - Google Pixel 4 Pizza Box With Pizza
