- Google Local Panel Adds See Other Locations Link
Google has added a link in some of the local knowledge panels, including the hotel ones, that say "see other locations." So when you are viewing a specific location, it lets you click a link to see other locations from the same or similar brand. - Google: Just Link Naturally
Google just wants you to link naturally and not worry about linking out. If you want to link to a site because it is something your readers would find useful, then link away. John Mueller from Google said on Twitter "Just link naturally, no need to do anything fancy when linking to other articles in an organic way like that." - Google Opens web.dev To Measure Your Site
Google has launched on web.dev a beta of various web site reporting tools that show you how well you are keeping up with best practices around your web site. Google said "With actionable guidance and analysis, web.dev helps developers like you learn and apply the web's modern capabilities to your own sites and apps." - Google My Business Insights Has No Plans To Give Longer Periods Of Data
Google My Business said on Twitter that while they are reviewing the feedback around expanding the data in the Insights tab, there are no current plans to give more than a quarter worth of data in that analytics section. It doesn't mean it won't happen but it means as of now, getting longer term data is not in the works. - Google News Publishers Complaining About Indexing Issues
In the past few days there has been an uptick in complaints from Google News publishers around Google not indexing their new news content. Gary Illyes from Google did a rare appearance on Twitter to say he passed along the feedback to the Google News team to investigate. - Google Opens Detroit Office
