- Google Search Console Performance Reports & Search Analytics One Day Off Still
Back in January, we reported that when you look at the new Google Search Console Performance report and compare it to the old Search Analytics report, they do have the same data but the day they plot the data is a day off from each other. With Google shutting down the old Search Analytics report in two days from now, this is a concern for some. - Google: Moving Hosting Companies Doesn't Cause Ranking Declines
Google's John Mueller said that moving to a new hosting company doesn't cause ranking declines. Of course he means if the new hosting company doesn't prevent GoogleBot from crawling your site. But in general, moving hosts doesn't have a negative impact on your rankings. - Google Lens Finally On iOS Devices
Google Lens, the tool to have your camera look at objects and detect what they are, is now available on iOS devices. Bing's search app had many of these features for iOS but now Google does as well. - Google For You Tab Expands To iOS Devices & 130 Countries
Google announced they are expanding the "For You tab" in the Google search app to iOS devices and over 130 countries. Specifically adding For You to over 40 countries on iOS and 130+ new countries on Android. I am not sure why iOS has fewer than Android. - Google Expedites Closing Google+ After Another Security Bug
We knew Google+ was shutting down but Google announced they are now expediting this process since a new security bug was discovered with the Google+ API. 52.5 million users in connection with a Google+ API potentially had their name, email address, occupation, age and other information stolen. - Google Dublin Year End Holiday Party
