In August we caught Google testing showing thumbnails or icons in the related searches options in the mobile search results. Well now it seems to be fully live for all searchers on mobile. Not for all queries and related searches but for many. - Geminid Meteor Shower Google Logo
Today on the Google home page is a Google logo, a Doodle, for the Geminid Meteor Shower. The Geminids are a meteor shower caused by the object 3200 Phaethon, which is thought to be a Palladian asteroid with a "rock comet" orbit.
