It has been a bit slow with the holiday and New Years season but we have some news for you all in the SEO world. We posted our monthly Google webmaster report. Yelp did an update a couple months ago that made reviews disappear. Google launched a new AMP feature for featured snippets. Google featured snippets are testing a blue feedback bar. Google is testing a feature to stream shows and movies via search. Google has a zero result for recording a video. Google said links from non-English sites are not unnatural. Bing said be careful with the robots.txt file. Unicode worked for Google local listings for a few days until Google killed it. Google is testing larger messaging buttons for the local panel. Google is testing moving the Google Posts higher up in the local panel. Google’s John Mueller was helloing webmasters on New Years. That was this past week in search at the Search Engine Roundtable.
